Custom Menus

- One-by-one could teach me a lot.
- With my limit of budget, I did my ZZ-R modifications one-by-one. It
was slow, but because of that, I could feel the differences between normal
and others.
- Front Suspension 1
- Changed the inner spring to WP Pro Line. At that time, the motorcycle
already run over 40,000km. This was not only custom, but also maintainance.
Feel became softer than normal, but steady and confortable than that.
- Front Suspension 2
- Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators is so nice! When I saw it as a first
time at the magazine, MOTORCYCLIST(U.S), I had not so much about them.
Written as a total new consept system, I had just a little interest. For
only try, I bought them directly from RACE TECH, attached by myself, try
run.
- Unbelieveable!
- Smooth, but catch the road very well.
- I can't say enough about it. Just Try By Yourself!
- Rear Suspension
- With good feeling frontsuspension, I would like to try good rear suspension.
I chose OHLLINS sus for ZZ-R. The one of the best suspensions in the World.
- It's so nice,I can say nothing about it.
- The shafts were very dirty, I recognized the nesissity of periodic
maintainance.
- BrakeLines
- I chose SpeedFlow distributed by YOSHIMURA in Japan.
- "For Australian Model Motorcycle, it's best to fit Australian
Lines." This was my reason talked to friends about my choice. In Japan,
Lines are common custom item. But, the mainstream was, and is GOODRIDGE
or EARL'S. It is good one, though. I have no idea about Calipers with the
improvement by the line's. The feel is same, but effect is so strong.
- Ignition System
- PowerPak by VANCE & HINES. It would be the only choice I could,
and I'm satisfied with it. I'm not equipped good sensor for riding, to
check the difference between Normally fitted and VANCE & HINES. You
know, just feel nice with the Defferent Equipment.
- Clutch
- The Barnett, Series K. Clutches very well. Can't imagine it would slip
in future.
- Light LId
- The protection cover from the flying objects. It works when we never
imagine the needs. LockHart.
- TankBra
- Second Look TankSkin. It looks nice, but sometimes slip.
- Handlebar Riser
- Made by GenMar Mfg. 25mm riser. It didn't need to change hose &
lines. Good for Long Touring.
- Beside of that is a watch. 10bar resist, don't mind the rains!
- Silencer
- MUZZY Slip-on was good top-end with bad lows. The sound had a little
problem for good neighborfood relationship, so now in stockroom.
- Screen
- I loe the blue colour of Maier screen. It already no stock. Hope Maier
will make it again for ZX-6D.
- RearFender
This is normal factory parts for German. Good for Rain Run. It prevent
the spit of mud and dirty water from the road surface.
- Plugs
- Use CR9EK(Twin tip type) instead of CR9E(Factory recomennded). Better
morning start and idle.
